Day has started as always – in the tiny restaurant on the embankment. There were neither waves, nor wind. So we decided to discover neighborhoods of Ba Ria Vung Tau. Furnished ourselves with cameras we jumped on motorbikes and directed to fishermen’s village Ben Da on the other side of peninsula. Road goes through picturesque serpentine around big mountain Muy Lon (520 meters high). On the one side of the road there are quarries where people are extracting gravel and houses of poor folks. Their houses are old French fortifications. On the other side of the road - sea side through the exotic trees thicket cozy cafes are welcoming guests. Just in one of these cafes we had our lunch on the way back. Specific smell and fish dried on the metal trays alongside the roads made us understand that we arrived to the fishermen’s village. Village is famous for its huge catholic church and bed roads:) We road deeper to the village to the fishermen’s port and decided to rent a boat. Paid a bit to the fisherman our fascinating journey has started… wish you will have the same!
