So our plane finallie landed and we realised that we are in Vietnam, now we can say by-by to cold Saint-Petersburg weather. We can’t describe feelins when we look through plane’s window at picturesque views of palms trees and wonderful blue sky. We hat all our documents filed in the plane, so our friend with no wait went to “visa on arrival” window with our passport. We had to wait for about one hour before our visas were ready. After thet we went to pick up our largegge. We were happy that all our belongings arrived. We went outside the Ho Chi Minh airport and realised how weather was nice. We were surrended by whole bunch of taxi drivers, but desided to choose the river taxi. You can get to Vung Tau by 3 different wais: 1. Take the river taxi by Mekong. You have to spend 30 minutes to get to the feery terminal from the airport and the most difficult part of it, is to explain to taxi driver where exactly you need to go, becauce few of them barrely speaks english. It coust arround 8$ for the taxi and 10$ for the feery. It will take you 1.30h to get to Vung Tau. It’s very easy to get another taxi that will take you to your hotel in Vung Tau. That will cost you arround 3$. It is very comfortable way to get to Vung Tau, but you can use it only in the day time, till 5PM 2. You can take a taxi from airport to Vung Tau. It will be coast near 100$. 3. You can take advantage of a transfer, which organised for you our surfstation, all information you can see in our site www.vnkite.com, it is very conveniently. The transfer will be cost 130$ and no problem, have met – have taken. So you in Vung Tau. Have lodged in the hotel in 200 metres from the surfstation, 4 stars, 50$. You can find the hotel more expensive or more cheap. A few having had a rest we go on sufrstation “KitePirates”. Now the season is chaning and all are in expectation of the winds and waves. It will be enough time for beginners to learn to go to a ride and for professional to tighten level before the competitions, which organised for us Take Off in New Year.
